Ms. Anna (Annie) Angelidou is a Communications professional and certified TEFL/TESOL Instructor with 10 years of experience in communications, ESL, EFL teaching, SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS examination preparation, writing, translating and copy editing, and is committed to helping students prepare to become whole, compassionate, value-driven and purpose-centered individuals able to navigate themselves through an increasingly ambiguous and ever-changing world.
Ms. Angelidou was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States and is an alumna of ACS Athens.

Ms. Efthymiopoulou was born and raised in Athens, Greece, in a family of educators. She also lived in England and the USA in international military and diplomatic environment.
She has studied Law at the University of Athens, Music at the Hellenic Conservatoire, and English (Linguistics Concentration) at Montgomery College, MD, USA, and at ACG, Deree College. During her studies in the USA and Greece, she was the recipient of awards and scholarships. She holds a BA in English and a Degree in Piano and Advanced Theory. She also speaks French, certified by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, France.
She has worked for many years in Foreign Language and Music schools, and she had been running her own Music School for seven years. She has also translated children’s books from French for a Greek Publishing House.
She joined ACS Athens in 2009 as a substitute teacher working closely with all three schools as well as offices. From September 2013 to February 2014, she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Middle School Principal. Since November 2016, she has been holding the position of the Receptionist of the school.

Erika Hooker was born in the United States and holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Cultural Studies awarded by Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She has also earned her MBA with a specialization in International Business from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
During her years in the USA, she gained extensive experience working in a large and diverse higher education institution in South Florida, holding various positions in the Department or Communication, University Advancement and the Office of Media Relations. Since then, she has successfully held positions in marketing, account management and customer service in the corporate arena.
As a mother of three children herself, Erika is committed to helping shape tomorrow’s future by supporting and enhancing the educational experience for all students.

Helen Maravegias began her career at ACS Athens in November of 1980 in the Principal’s Office of the Academy. During that time, she enjoyed working with talented administrators, faculty, staff and students. In 1990 she assumed the position of Assistant to the President and has held this position since then.
Ms. Maravegias was educated in the United States and has her degree from the Berkeley School of Business in New York City. Her work skills and ethics have guided her throughout her years at ACS Athens with great success.
Ms. Maravegias is married and has two daughters, both graduates of ACS Athens.
